Luci Styles Payne, M.A., CEAP, SAP - Client Services

Luci Styles Payne is a seasoned clinical professional with a strong background in the fields of employee assistance and chemical dependency. In her tenure, Ms. Payne has served extensively in both a leadership and direct service capacity.

Ms. Payne joined IMPACT Solutions in 2005 in her current role as Director of Client Services. Prior to that, she served as the Coordinator for Kent State Universityís eight campus system Work/Life Program. In her current role at IMPACT Solutions she manages a team of clinical professionals and handles a range of functions related to day-to-day EAP service delivery and client relations. In addition to this, she also provides training and consulting for transition management, productivity enhancement, violence reduction in the workplace, and substance abuse.

Ms. Payne regularly trains and coaches key organizational personnel to help achieve enhanced leadership skills and improved work performance for the organization. Ms. Payne also facilitates seminars, wellness and work/life initiatives, and individual/team coaching services geared towards enhancing employee health and increasing productivity.

Ms. Payne is active in numerous professional organizations. She serves on the advisory board of the Kent State Universityís Womenís Center and as a committee member of the Northeast Ohioís Employee Assistance Professional Associationís Work/Life Committee. In her tenure, she has served as president of the Portage Senior Service Network and on the board of the College and University Work/Family Association. She is a lifetime member of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International.

Ms. Payne earned her bachelorís degree in Psychology in 1984, and completed her masterís degree in Counseling and Human Development in 1986, both from Walsh University in Ohio. Ms. Payne is also a member of the Leadership Portage Countyís Class of 2002. She is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional and a Department of Transportation Qualified Substance Abuse Professional. She is also certified in the use of the EQi, which she uses regularly as a platform for assessing emotional intelligence.

Ms. Payne lives on Payneís Back "Acher" with her husband, Jeff, and their Cairn Terrier, Teddy. When not on the links, she can be found gardening or leading her team, Bobís Harem, to help in the quest for a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.
